Cookies

The supplied static site code does not set cookies or include optional analytics and advertising trackers. You can read the guides without accepting optional tracking.

What cookies and localStorage do

Cookies are small pieces of information a browser stores and may send with later requests to the relevant website. LocalStorage is a separate browser storage mechanism that can retain information on the same device and site origin. Unlike a cookie, a localStorage entry is not automatically sent with each page request.

Either mechanism can be used for preferences, but its existence alone does not explain its purpose. This notice describes the code supplied with this site rather than assuming that every browser or hosting environment behaves identically.

What the supplied site uses

The sewing guides, mobile menu and scroll reveals require no cookies. The local message tool processes your draft in the open page and does not save it in cookies or localStorage. Copying a preview uses the device clipboard only after you request it. Downloading creates a local text file only after you request it.

No external fonts, embedded videos, analytics scripts or advertising scripts are included. Serving the website may still involve infrastructure logs or security processing; those are distinct from the static page’s cookie behavior. See the privacy notice for the distinction.

Preference controls

The footer’s “Clear cookie preference” control removes a localStorage entry named pocketfountainbunch-cookie-consent if one exists. The supplied script does not create that entry or enable tracking. Clearing it does not delete other storage, browser cookies, clipboard contents or downloaded files.

If browser storage is blocked, the control reports that it cannot access storage. The instructional pages remain available. If additional consent functionality is introduced by the published hosting environment, its actual behavior and this notice should be kept consistent.

Your browser choices

Most browsers let you inspect and delete cookies and site data in their privacy settings. You can usually block cookies or clear information for a particular website. Menu names vary by browser and device. Clearing site data may also reset preferences or form restoration maintained by the browser.

Clipboard history and downloaded files have separate controls. Delete a downloaded message from your device if you no longer want it, and review clipboard history or synchronization settings if the prepared text contains information you do not wish to retain.
